Success in Project Management

Hi, I am Hari Thummalapalli, a PMP (Project Management Professional) and I have been involved with projects from the first day I started my first job out of graduate school way back in 1995. Ford Motor Company is where I learned the basics of Successful Project Management by watching the giants in this field. To this day, I haven’t run into an organization that has more competent Project Managers than Ford.
My first few years in Project Management were rocky and I experienced everything from elation at launching a project to extreme stress when I thought nothing in the world would help launch the project successfully. I took every success and failure very personally and gained wisdom in the process.
Simple equation in Life and Career: Knowledge + Pain + Suffering = Wisdom.
My goal here is to share this wisdom so hopefully, you can minimize the pain you have to experience in your career.
